Our Foundation Unit
We come together throughout the day to share our experiences and learn from each other.
Our Foundation Unit provides a warm and nurturing atmosphere where children are encouraged to develop a lifelong love of learning through their play. We achieve this by creating a child centred, enabling environment both indoors and outdoors.
We recognise that parents and carers are children’s first educators and we encourage you to be as involved as you are able in your child’s play and learning.
There are many opportunities for you to join us within the setting throughout the year, including; special celebration and open days and we welcome any volunteers whenever you have the time!

Our Early Years team
There are two classes within our Foundation Stage setting: Bakers (Nursery) and Forde (Reception).
The team members working in Bakers include: Leanne Bickerton, Emma Dugmore, Simon Brown, Pat Wreford and Charlotte Waring.
The team members working in Forde include: Katie Ledbury, Sam Hooker and Gill Parr.
